A Wild And Wonderful Home From Home

Exterior Larpool Mill
From fashion to furnishings and food, art and theatre and staycations, the release of the new film version of Emily Brontë's classic Wuthering Heights will be influencing everything over the next few months.
I, for one, remember, as a small child, watching the black-and-white version starring Lawrence Olivier and Merle Oberon. I found it rather scary and sad, but later the 1992 version with Ralph Fiennes I absolutely loved. No wonder he was called the best Heathcliff ever.
This spring and summer will see hundreds of people, after seeing the film, heading out to experience some of Cathy and Heathcliff's romantic magic in our wonderful countryside of God's Own County.
Wonderful news for the hospitality industry: this film puts a whole new spin on our wild and wonderful countryside.
Hotels, bed and breakfasts and pubs with rooms will all be throwing open their doors to capture some Wuthering Heights magic, plus great home-from-home places which are perfect for family reunions and parties, birthdays and anniversary celebrations and even the hen night with a difference.
So if you are looking for a great place to hold any of those events, here are some suggestions, all with both coast and country places to visit nearby and in the middle of Heartbeat country. All are booked direct with the owners on simplyowners.net where you can find more details. So what are you waiting for? Create your own Bronte magic
