Tuesday, 23rd June: FIFA World Cup: England v Ghana, 21:00

The Three Lions look to continue their winning start to their World Cup group stage campaign against a Ghana side that is hot on their heels.

The first game of Group L saw England face a familiar face in top-level competition, Croatia, a side that knocked them out of the 2018 World Cup in the semifinal.

A hotly contested first half saw England lead twice and get pegged back twice, with a Harry Kane double keeping them on level terms.

The second half saw Tuchel’s men elevate their performance, with Jude Bellingham scoring a superb finish from a tight angle, giving England the lead just two minutes after the restart.

Marcus Rashford then doubled the lead after a quick counter attack, skipping past his man before placing the finish in the bottom corner.

The unexpected result and control of the game rewarded a valiant performance from a side that had many doubters before the kickoff. Declan Rice’s set pieces were also a topic of discussion, as he delivered many effective corners, showcasing a skill for which he has become well-known at Arsenal this season.

Ghana similarly had a winning start to their tournament but in a much more dramatic style against Panama.

For most of the game, a 0-0 draw seemed inevitable until Yirenkyi's 95th-minute winner secured all three points.

Now that early qualification is potentially on the line in Foxborough, both will be hoping their good starts will continue, and they can start to prepare for knockout football before their final group match is even played.

Wednesday, 24th June T20 World Cup Women: England v West Indies 18:30

It has been a 100% winning run from England so far in the first three matches of the World Cup, with another hopefully on the way against the second in the group, the West Indies.

England's most dominant performance occurred in the tournament opener, where they secured an 87-run victory, setting the stage for their success.

It was then on to a much tighter affair against Ireland, where four wickets were the difference for England, which retained the top spot in Group 2. Last week, England showcased a performance reminiscent of their opener at Yorkshire and Headingley Stadium, where they decisively defeated Scotland with their impressive batting. Dani Gibson and Freya Kemp were the standout performers, with 61 taken from 21 balls. A win by 38 runs puts them in a solid place as the group stage nears its finale.

With just two matches remaining, England have a real chance to reach the semis. A win over the West Indies or the reigning champions New Zealand is likely to be enough to see England through to the latter stages.

Friday 26th June Betfred Super League: Leeds Rhinos v Hull KR 20:00

For the second week running, Super League has a top-of-the-table clash to offer as the Rhinos host Hull KR at Headingley Stadium.

Leeds remained at the summit of the table following their impressive display away to second-placed Warrington last week. A dominant 34-6 win for Bard Arthur’s side saw them extend their lead at the top by two points.

The Rhinos will be hoping for a similarly routine affair as they await a Hull KR side currently four points behind them in third with a game less played.

The Robins saw off a difficult side with an impressive win of their own against the Leigh Leopards at home with a 22-8 score.

That was Hull’s fourth win in their last five matches as they look to carve out a run that will take them into the top two.

Leeds has dominated proceedings when the two have met in the past, with the Rhinos winning all three of the last previous meetings, including an eye-catching display when the two met in Las Vegas in March. Leeds completely dominated the proceedings, achieving a 58-6 victory.

KR will be hoping they can rewrite their past frailties against the West Yorkshire side with a win that could signal a shakeup of the top three.

Date: 26/06/2026

Time: 20:00

Venue: Headingley Stadium, Leeds

The match will be shown on Sky Go.
