Lowther Holiday Park at Eamont Bridge has officially reopened its onsite bar following an extensive refurbishment and launch of an exciting new food offering having added a new kitchen to the premises.

The transformation was celebrated with an official opening attended by Westmorland and Lonsdale MP, Tim Farron, alongside park residents and guests, who were invited to be among the first to experience the new-look venue.

Previously the park's onsite bar, now named ‘The Cow Shed’ has undergone a complete makeover, creating a stylish, spacious and welcoming social hub for holiday homeowners, visitors and guests.

The refurbishment from owners, Pure Leisure Group, has introduced a fresh interior design, combining tasteful décor with plush, comfortable furniture and exposed beams and brickwork to create a relaxed yet contemporary atmosphere. The spacious layout offers plenty of room for guests to get together, unwind and enjoy time with family and friends.

One of the biggest additions is a brand-new kitchen, meaning The Cow Shed will now serve a choice of traditional pub classics including homemade steak pie, fish and chips or three bean chilli, a choice of four burgers and traditional desserts, giving visitors even more reason to make the most of the facilities at Lowther Holiday Park.

Whilst addressing the visitors in his speech, Tim Farron MP said: “I am honoured to be asked to officially bless and open these wonderful new facilities, they are fantastic. I think Pure Leisure Group is a jewel in the crown of hospitality and the economy here in Cumbria, and that is quite a crown to be a jewel of.

“Even when things are difficult, John and his Pure Leisure team rise to the challenge; they innovate and do something new and be ahead of the game and this is part of that. You don’t need me to tell you that The Cow Shed is unrecognisable and utterly beautiful. It’s a great venue for everyone who visits.”

The investment forms part of Pure Leisure Group's ongoing commitment to enhancing the experience it offers across its holiday parks, ensuring that facilities continue to evolve to meet the expectations of holiday homeowners and guests.
John Morphet, owner of Pure Leisure Group said: “We're delighted to finally unveil The Cow Shed and give the bar at Lowther Holiday Park a completely new lease of life.

“We wanted to create somewhere that feels special but also relaxed and welcoming. A place where holiday homeowners can catch up with friends, families can enjoy a meal together and guests can make even more of their time at the park.
“The addition of the new kitchen is a particularly exciting development, allowing us to offer a food experience alongside the bar facilities. It's a fantastic enhancement to the park and we're looking forward to welcoming everyone through the doors.”

The Cow Shed is now open at Lowther Holiday Park, offering residents and guests a refreshed place to eat, drink and socialise as part of their time at the park. For more details or to book a holiday visit www.pure-leisure.co.uk
