Leeds University Business School has announced a new four-year degree programme in partnership with financial advisory firm Grant Thornton UK.

The Talent Track BSc Accounting and Finance (Professional) degree combines academic study with paid work experience. Students will undertake multiple paid placements across their first, second, and fourth years, alongside a full-year placement with Grant Thornton during their third year.

Upon graduation, students will be considered for permanent roles within the firm, which includes the potential for an ACA training agreement and a fast-track route to professional qualification. The inaugural cohort will begin their studies in September 2026.

Participants will also have access to professional mentors from Grant Thornton, alongside guest lectures and industry insight sessions designed to build workplace skills and professional networks.
