Church View Development Secures £600,000 Investment For Coppull Infrastructure

Church View
Church View
Miller Homes North West is highlighting the significant level of infrastructure investment secured through its Church View development in Coppull, with more than £600,000 committed to supporting local services, facilities and housing provision.

Through its Section 106 commitments, Church View will provide 30% affordable housing across the scheme, comprising 70% Social Rent and 30% Shared Ownership homes, supporting access to housing within the borough.

Financial contributions have also been secured towards a range of local priorities, including £9,000 for Children and Young People services, £38,000 towards Natural and Semi-Natural Greenspace, £107,000 to support Playing Pitches and recreational provision, and £4,000 towards Highways improvements.

In addition, approximately £490,000 has been secured through the Community Infrastructure Levy, contributing to wider strategic infrastructure projects across the Chorley area.

The investment sits alongside Miller Homes’ direct community engagement delivered since the development launched in June 2025, which has seen more than £2,000 donated to local schools and organisations through the housebuilder’s Community Fund.

Church View offers a collection of three- and four-bedroom homes designed to complement Coppull’s semi-rural setting, with the development continuing to establish itself as a growing residential community within the village.

Homes for sale start from £234,995, and with a range of buyer incentives on offer, including deposit contributions for first time buyers, as well as Part Exchange and Stamp Duty support on selected properties.

Clare Noakes, Sales Director at Miller Homes North West, said: “The investment secured through Church View reflects our commitment to delivering developments that support communities as well as housing delivery.

Through our Section 106 and CIL contributions, alongside our Community Fund activity, we’re proud to be helping fund infrastructure, green space and services that will benefit Coppull both now and in the future.”
