All the assets of Leeds-based furniture manufacturer Poplar Products are to be sold via online auction after the business ceased trading, with bidding closing from 12pm on Thursday, July 9.

Founded in 1949, Poplar Products provided design, manufacturing and installation services for retail, hospitality, educational and commercial projects across the UK.

Yorkshire asset advisory specialist Walker Singleton has been appointed to dispose of all of the company’s assets via online auction.

Lots include a powder coating line, engineering and fabrication machinery, a range of welding equipment, as well as a forklift truck and a Renault Lo-Loader van.

The auction also includes a range of finished and showroom stock, such as breakfast bars, chairs, stools and tables. All of the items can be viewed online here.

Walker Singleton is also hosting a viewing day at Poplar Products’ former facility on Ramshead Approach in Seacroft on Wednesday, July 8. Further details are available through the firm’s website.
